Silicom Ltd. is looking for a Kubernetes / OpenShift Engineer.
Responsibilities
You will work on leading-edge multinational time distribution projects for tier 1 partners and customers from various market segments (service providers, industrial and others). You will:
- Containerize new applications and tools, and move them to Kubernetes
- Be a part of solution engineering on major cloud platforms
- Work with state-of-the-art technologies and from every aspect of the DevOps/Cloud Ecosystem from development through deployment to operations and monitoring
- Work in conjunction with IT, engineering, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with C/C++ programming
- Hands-on experience in developing, deploying, tuning and debugging applications on Kubernetes
- Experience in either developing code in at least one high-level programming language or building automated infrastructures
- Familiar with cloud platform administration and/or development
- Fundamental knowledge of key DevOps concepts
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following technologies and platforms: Kubernetes, Docker, Bash, etc.
- Conversational level of English language
