Silicom's new 10 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express RMI Packet Processor Server Adapter offloads time-consuming packet-processing tasks from the host system processor, enabling the system to deliver true 10Gbps throughput in high-traffic conditions.  Designed for use in challenging network applications such as multi-service VPN/Firewall/IDS system, the RMI Packet Processor Server independently processes and monitors all packets according to user-defined rules automatically at wirespeed. The product’s power derives from its unique combination of proprietary Silicom technology with the RMI XLS416 Multi-Core superscalar communication processor and the Netlogic L7 Payload inspection processor.
