Silicom launches a new, MARKET FIRST, PCI Express SSL /IPSEC Acceleration Adapter, based on Broadcom's 5862 chipset. This adapter is designed to improve the throughput of Internet security appliances and network gateways. The card is designed for the new PCI Express interface that has already become the leading standard on most of all new motherboards.

Silicom launches a new and unique Multifunction Dual Port Gigabit Ethernet adapter which includes Bypass and SSL Acceleration. The adapter is based on Intel's 82546 Gigabit Ethernet controller and Cavium NITROX® Lite CN 1010 security processor. Silicom launches a new product line of high-performance encryption adapters
These adapters are designed to improve the throughput of Internet security appliances
and network gateways. The products improve networking appliances' performance
by independently executing encryption tasks, thereby accelerating the encryption process
and freeing the appliances' CPU for other activities.

Silicom launches a new product line of Bypass switches
New Silicom's Bypass switches are specially designed for corporate environments
to ensure that network traffic continues to flow in case the appliance fails or loses power
and enables easy networking maintenance.

Silicom launches new, unique, Quad and Six ports PCI-Express adapters.
New Silicom´s Quad and Six ports adapters are based on Broadcom´s 5714 chips
which include an internal PCI-X/PCI-E bridge. Such solution minimizes the chip count
on the board, facilitating a simpler design, minimal power consumption, minimal heat
dissipation and consequently higher reliability.

Silicom cards are now fully RoHS 6 compatible.
Silicom is a market leader in offering full RoHS 6 compliance for its PCI–X and
PCI Express cards. RoHS complaint cards are already available and being shipped
to customers.

Silicom announces a new side–driver for its BYPASS cards.
Now customers can choose between an integrated driver coming from Silicom and
a side driver where they can continue to use the original card´s drivers and use Silicom
side driver for the BYPASS functionality only. This approach makes the bypass
integration process simpler,especially in applications where the original networking
driver has been customized.
